After completing her PhD in Exercise Physiology at Loughborough University, Vikki started her Clinical Research career at the RIE Clinical Research Facility in 2011. After 3 years of supporting the nursing and clinical teams’ delivery of commercial and academic clinical trials, Vikki joined the ACCORD Research Governance team in 2014. Here she worked closely with clinical investigators facilitating funding applications, obtaining ethical and regulatory approvals, clinical trial set-up and oversight.
In 2018 Vikki took up her current post as Clinical Project Manager – using her clinical trial and regulatory expertise to bring novel investigational imaging agents and medical devices to the clinic. Her work focuses on medical device development and validation, regulatory pathways and clinical trial set-up and management.
In her spare time, Vikki enjoys nights out, cycling, baking and spending time with her husband, children and dog.
