Ali Taimori received the Postdoc on compressive imaging and investigation from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in the 2017. He is currently a Research Associate at the Institute for Digital Communications, School of Engineering, the University of Edinburgh, UK. He is collaborating with the Queen’s Medical Research Institute in the development of microendoscopy imaging systems. Prior to joining the University of Edinburgh, he taught technical courses as an Assistant Professor.
He is a reviewer for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Computational Imaging, Journal of Visual Communication and Image Representation, and Journal of Medical Signals and Sensors.
His current research interests encompass a vast spectrum of subjects in both the theory and practice of signal processing, artificial intelligence, forensics, imaging, and communications.
His hobbies are mountain climbing, physical activities, exploring in nature, and long-life learning.
